Rev. Dr. Lesley Carroll has been minister of the Fortwilliam and Macrory Presbyterian Church since 1998. She was minister at Macrory Memorial from 1992-1997 and at Fortwilliam Park in 1998. In 2005 the two congregations amalgamated to become Fortwilliam & Macrory. Lesley is passionate about promoting cross community development in northern Ireland. One of Lesley’s passions is to spread the Good News about Jesus whilst enjoying a cup of tea and a biscuit. Lesley lives in the church manse along with her two dogs Ruby and Mabel.1 Articles
Professor Sandy Steacy is Director of the Environmental Sciences Research Institute at the University of Ulster. She joined the University as a Research Officer in 1994 shortly after completing her PhD at the University of Southern California. She was promoted to Professor at Ulster in 2007. Her general research area is earthquake physics and, in particular, how physical properties and fault stress affect earthquake size, as well as the extent to which stress changes resulting from earthquakes modify the likelihood of subsequent nearby events. As as an internationally respected authority in her field, she delivers papers and makes presentations at scientific conferences around the world.1 Articles
