  1. The electorate delivered a verdict on the dismal performance of the Labour Party. The party abandoned its core principles and values to serve the interests of the Troika and transnational corporations. A change of leadership will not alter the fact. In the recent past, profound statements have been published about economic illiteracy in the leadership of Sinn Féin. Ordinary men and women are paying a high price for the incompetence of the gurus in Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and the Labour Party. At critical periods in the political, social and economic development of this country, it is clear that the priorities for many politicians were wealth, power and status. Time is running out for the current administration.
