Ulster Unionist Party leader Tom Elliott stripped David McNarry (pictured above) of his vice-chairmanship of the Education Committee for publicly disclosing details of private meetings taking place between his party and the Democratic Unionist Party. These talks had been going on since last summer with the approval of Mr Elliott.
