On a visit to Newry I spoke to traders about business in these uncertain times. Peter Murray, General Manager of The Buttercrane Centre believes the city is a good bet to weather the financial storm:

    If the Quays and the Buttercrane continue to charge their customers into their (once-free) they will find that potential customers will drift elsewhere. Why pay for parking when there is countless other areas in Newry with free parking?
