Seamus Heaney did toast the Queen again showing even a poet changes his mind.

When Seamus Heaney was once invited to be included in a ‘British’ collection of poetry he wrote:

‘Don’t be surprised if I demur, for, be advised, my passport’s green. No glass of ours was ever raised to toast the Queen.’.

Seamus Heaney once wrote the above but raised his glass in Dublin Castle Castle to salute Banrion Eilis a Do.
