Ciaran Lennon, a Dublin based artist ploughs a lonely furrow inIrish art rigorously making abstract paintings. He is fundamentally a
colourist who works in every and any material under the sun. He
regularly lays one material upon another allowing the under colour to
sing through or at other times peep or sneak through perspex, wire
grid or whatever. Lennon is a strict disciplinarian for whom his art
is absolute.
