One hell of a stink is being investigated in the basement of Parliament Buildings.
Needless to say the powers that be would not like such a pong hanging around the building so close to the visit of a former First Lady.
No one was drawing a conclusion from the fact that the smell was emanating from the communications room next door to the Assembly press office.
Such was the pungent nature of the smell that Building Services were summoned post haste.
Was the source a decaying dead mouse or a bottle of spilled milk ?
This eyewitness observed one of the workers fingering a mouse trap. He advised several of these had been fully baited for mice.
Another assistant added “You aren’t missing any press officer are you.”
Hilary Clinton would be well advised to stay clear of the Press area of Parliament Buildings. Apart from mice the ratpack might be ready to trap her. !!
