Despite the confusion arising over the resignation or non resignation of Mark Durkan as SDLP leader he has lost none of his wit and humour.
Comfortable that Mark was on his way the heir pretender Alasdair Mc Donnell sought to ‘praise Caesar.’
Alasdair hadn’t the words out of his mouth when good old Durkan was heard to say —
” It’s like being up in the gallery at your funeral.”
Journalists will miss all those many unique ‘Durkisms’.
